STAFF ACCOUNTANT

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :
- Assist in preparation of tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports
- Assess and research accounting issues to identify solutions
- Analyze transactions and prepare financial reports
- Compile accounting reports for daily operations
- Ensure compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities
- Offer support and guidance during audits
- Perform account / ledger reconciliations and oversee / manage accounts payable / receivable, and payroll functions
- Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes and accounting procedures
- Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports
- Establish accounting policies and procedures
- Offer support and guidance to the accounting team
- Balance financial records and check for inaccuracies
- Perform other accounting related duties and tasks assigned
