Davidson Ford of Clay is looking for a Sales Consultant and Backup Finance Manager! This position will sit on the Sales floor with the opportunity to interact with hundreds of customers to become a trusted advisor in their vehicle purchase. This position will also serve as a backup F&I Manager to cover days off, vacations, sickness, etc. as needed!

Hours: Monday - Saturday, with Sunday and an additional day during the week off.
Pay Range: $75,000 - $200,000 /yr
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Help assess customers’ wants and needs for their vehicles.
- Keep open lines of communication with customers through call, text, and email.
- Remain knowledgeable about our current products and offers.
- Use the various computer systems available to make the customer buying process as seamless as possible.
- Meet target goals and metrics in regards to sales and customer service.
- Create additional sales opportunities through referrals and other creative means.
- Ensure proper presentation of vehicles, vehicle features, and test drives tailored to the customer’s needs and interests.
- Sell enhanced products and services offered by our dealership and/or the manufacturer, utilizing a menu selling process.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is complete for each deal.
- Be familiar with F&I and banking compliance requirements.
- Meet or exceed goals for gross production of products and services.
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed.
Required Skills:
- 2 years experience as a Sales Consultant.
- Goal oriented with the ability to follow through.
- A multi-tasker who can provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships.
- Empathetic and patient personality.
- The highest level of comfort with product presentation and sales.
- Must be process oriented with an attention to detail.
- Proficient with technology and navigating various systems.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- A strong sense of integrity.
- At least 18 years of age with a valid Driver’s License is required.
Preferred:
- Previous Ford experience preferred.
- Previous experience or training in F&I preferred.
