What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent HR Advisor position at Davidson Group HR Solutions?
Davidson Group HR Solutions is a network of independent Human Resources professionals who share resources and best practices for helping small and mid-sized organizations solve real business challenges with pragmatic HR solutions. We are looking for an affiliate in the Wilmington, NC market who is interested in building or expanding their own consulting practice with support from The Davidson Group.
This is an ideal position for someone who has been a high level HR professional in corporate America and who is ready to improve their work-life balance. Once the advisor builds up a reasonable book of clients, compensation in the $120 - 180k range is very attainable.
As an HR advisor you will:
- identify prospective clients and secure engagements
- conduct HR audits
- review and write employee handbooks and policies
- consult with the owners of small to mid-size businesses regarding their total HR strategies, including recruiting, selection, on-boarding, performance management, employee engagement and retention, and talent management
The ideal candidate:
- Has a solid HR background with Director or VP level experience
- Is SPHR or SHRM-SCP certified
- Has a desire to work for themselves and build a legitimate consulting/fractional practice
- Would benefit from an affiliation with other HR professionals who have established client bases
- Has business acumen (MBA and/or operations/management experience in addition to HR roles is preferred)
