What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant position at Vacation HR?
Essential Job Duties
- Sorting linens, towels, top of bed and other laundry items by color, size, and material
- Packing laundry items based on packing sheet for clean cleaning crews.
- Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols
- Drying items with commercial laundry equipment following proper load limit protocols.
- Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment.
- Unloading laundry from commercial dryers
- Stocking laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener
- Creating laundry tags with identifiable customer information
