Job Title: Facility Custodian
Division: Facilities - Maintenance
Department: Operations
Reports to: Facilities Cleaning Supervisor
PURPOSE: To perform all aspects of facility and grounds janitorial work including cleaning, disinfecting, and restoring of workspace equipment and products. The Facility Custodian supports all WeGo departments.

- Tools and Equipment; operate common lightweight equipment (vacuum, scrubbers and buffers)

- Stocking of supplies and equipment needed for job
- Orders supplies through supervisor in a timely manner
- Being proactive in carrying out routing inspections, taking corrective measures, anticipating ongoing needs
- Keeps supervisor informed as to status of assignments, emergency and safety situations and other matters which may affect the operation of the Company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains building and property cleaning standards
- Perform heavy cleaning tasks
- Sweep, Mop, Scrub, vacuum, strip, wax and buff floors
- Gather and empty trash
- Scrub, sanitize and supply restroom facilities
- Dust and cleans furniture, walls and equipment
- Cleans windows, walls and partitions
- Dusts, cleans, disinfects and polishes furniture, fixtures and gym equipment
- Manages inventory of cleaning supplies and tools. Stocks products accordingly.
- Operates various cleaning equipment; pressure washer, electrostatic sprayer, riding sweeper, walk behind scrubber, shop vac, high pressure cleaning steamer, blower, broadcast sprayer, etc.
- Cleans, scrubs, and disinfects showers and locker rooms
- Applies weather related treatments to walkways
- Responds to unanticipated emergency cleans as needed or as requested by management
- Performs proper dilution and usage of chemicals according to label and SDS
- Perform bus wipe downs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: or EDUCATION and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Successful Completion training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the work or successful completion of appropriate practical test for internal maintenance employees.
- Possess a valid TN Class “D” Driver’s License
- Successful completion of job specific training program, as required. Training to be provided by the company.
- Good Physical Condition.
