Title : Training Coordinator - Lead
Purpose : To provide leadership, vision, motivation and strategic direction to meet the training needs for the organization. Manage and supervise the members of the Training Department.
Reports to : Training Manager
Job Functions :
- Supervise the Training Facilitators of the operations training program within the Operator Training Department
- Supervise and manage the third-party CDL process.
- Supervise and ensure compliance within the FMCSA Training Provider Registry.
- Supervise and manage the Clearinghouse registry and quarries.
- Supervise and oversee Line Instructor and Advanced Line Instructor Program.
- Supervise the Graduation Program for WeGo Bus Academy and student participation.
- Work with Training Manager to determine learning objectives and instructional methods to ensure objectives are met.
- Assist with building curriculum for the bus operation training program and drive safety initiatives for the company and enterprise.
- Assists in training function when necessary (i.e. provide class instruction as needed to meet business objectives);
- Assist with the maintenance of records to document course attendance, training agenda and test results.
- Provides general supervision over activities of the department as directed by the Training Manager.
- Act as delegate or representative on behalf of the Training Manager as needed or as assigned

Recommended Preparation for Employment :
Completion of four-year college degree in a related field. Experience working in a Union environment preferred. Third Party CDL Tester preferred. Creative ability and demonstrated proficiency in writing and designing training materials is required. Must possess effective presentation skills. Must acquire knowledge of safety procedures, standard operation procedures, and all Operations policies and procedures in an approved timeframe.
