We're seeking a Liability Claims Support Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will provide on-site support for Property and Casualty claims, serving as a key liaison for our claims operations.
Your Expertise, Skills, And Abilities
- Administrative/clerical duties related to USIS claims operations
- Collect, review and sort all accident/incident reports and report to TPA (vehicle, visitor accident, property damage claims, etc.)
- Scan incident reports in Doc Manager and update the incident reports
- Handle all faxes pertaining to Property and Casualty claims
- Reporting student accident claims that fall under the School Insurance policies;
- Ensuring documents or other materials needed for claims adjudication are provided;
- Generate reports or loss runs from TPA system
- Handle telephone calls from third parties and perform intake or refer to assigned claims adjuster;
- Log subrogation/restitution recoveries and deliver to finance department
- Assist with other administrative duties, special projects, etc.
- Work effectively in two different databases/systems, MS Office and Outlook.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Professional appearance and demeanor; effective communicator verbally and in writing.
- Ability to liaise professionally with client contacts on-site at client location, while effectively maintaining policy and procedure.
- Able to work effectively in fast paced environment. Must be a team player, flexible and easy-going. Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to function efficiently and effectively in multiple systems to accomplish goals of the position, ensuring adherence to policies.

- Proficient in Microsoft suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent typing/PC skills (40 wpm).

- Required to own and safely operate a reliable motor vehicle; maintain vehicle and provide proper licenses and insurance as directed by the company.
