April 16, 2025 – Daviess County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) is seeking a part time Building Maintenance Technician.
Summary
The Building Maintenance will provide and maintain a functional building for tenants and other individuals by responding to maintenance requests, as well as, routine and preventative maintenance of the building
Examples of Responsibilities
- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them
- Performing repairs of machines, equipment or structures as necessary
- Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
- Taking inventory of supplies and tools
Basic requirements
Construction skills such as carpentry, drywall, painting and masonry
Plumbing experience
Electrical experience
HVAC experience a plus
Administrative skills for ordering supplies, handling records and scheduling maintenance on multiple buildings
Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move and handle equipment (up to 50 lbs)
Valid driver’s license
