LPN Charge Nurse

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in overseeing patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for coordinating patient care in a Level II Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital, providing support to staff while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate daily operations to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer IV infusions and perform aseptic techniques as required.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices and protocols.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and infection control measures.
• Oversee memory care programs for patients requiring specialized attention.
• Manage emergency situations by utilizing ventilatory support when necessary.

Requirements

• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in a Charge Nurse or similar leadership role within a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and IV infusion protocols.
• Familiarity with medical records management systems and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or Teaching Hospital is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
