Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate daily operations to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer IV infusions and perform aseptic techniques as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices and protocols.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and infection control measures.
- Oversee memory care programs for patients requiring specialized attention.
- Manage emergency situations by utilizing ventilatory support when necessary.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in the state of practice.
- Proven experience in a Charge Nurse or similar leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and IV infusion protocols.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or Teaching Hospital is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
