Davinci Jets Services is hiring for a Materials Specialist in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will be working for a Part 145 Corporate aircraft maintenance repair station. DJS is dedicated to providing extraordinary aviation services, parts sales, avionics, and aircraft maintenance services.
Responsibilities:
Reports directly to the Materials Manager and follows operational flow of information.
Receives items into Corridor properly by utilizing the Shipping and Receiving modules.
Ensures Corridor processes for materials and tool handling are executed properly, to include inspecting for calibration, assisting with calibration list and sending tools to appropriate outside vendors for calibration.
Delivers materials needed for MRO work orders in a timely manner.
Executes materials receiving and warehousing procedures as directed by the Materials Manager.
Communicates effectively with Materials Manager, MRO personnel, and leadership.
Ships cores/overhauls/tooling, etc. to vendors with proper packaging and appropriate speed due to shop needs.
Accomplishes tasks, as needed, delegated by the Materials Manager or senior leadership.
Must have a sense of urgency and attention detail.
Able to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Would be the backup for the Materials Manager.
Would be responsible for handling the sourcing of parts (RFQ’s, requesting purchase approval, etc.), submitting purchase orders, communicating delivery dates, receiving items and delivering to work orders.
Corridor experience is a plus but not required.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred 2 years of experience working in a parts department.
