Position Overview
Davis Arts Center seeks a creative and forward-thinking Visual Arts Curriculum Program Manager to develop curriculum, create and deliver professional development, and establish and maintain curriculum partnerships with K-12 schools in Northern California. This role combines curriculum development expertise with relationship management to create lasting impact in our current and future partner schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Revise TK-6th grade visual arts curriculum aligned with California state standards
- Build and maintain relationships with schools districts, arts education non-profits and county and state education organizations
- Create professional development resources for TK-6th grade educators
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education, Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field
- 5 years of experience teaching visual arts in a K-12 setting
- 5 years experience developing visual arts curricula
- Proven track record managing educational partnerships
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of California Visual Arts Standards

- Curriculum development and instructional design
- Professional development design and implementation
- Partnership building and relationship management
- Exceptional and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to visit school district sites throughout Northern CA
- Willingness to take direction and execute tasks independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
