The Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a Warehouse Coordinator/Driver
Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Coordinator/Driver is to coordinate and oversee activities at our warehouse located in Miamisburg, OH.
- Oversee all shipping and receiving of materials and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and surrounding lot
- Receive, inventory and label all incoming material and supplies in a timely fashion
- Ability to create and implement processes to improve the efficiency and organization of the overall warehouse operation
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders and operations to plan & arrange pick-ups & deliveries
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and suppliers
- Responsibility to transport vehicles, equipment and materials between operations sites as well as to/from suppliers
- Observe the Company’s safety rules
- Maintain proper care of Company equipment and tools
- Perform other duties as directed/assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL and medical card required
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- 2-3 years of warehouse operations or similar experience preferred
- 1-2 years experience in the construction and/or electrical industry preferred
- 1-2 years of forklift experience preferred
