Jewelry Sales Associate- Davis Jewelers

Davis Jewelers is seeking a retail career sales professional to join us as a Sales Associate dedicated to delivering unparalleled client experience.

Major Areas of Responsibility / Major Tasks

· Meet/exceed personal sales goals (in conjunction with Add-Ons and Up Selling)

· Assist clients with product and service recommendations

· Develop clients using the “Davis Selling Philosophy”

· Provide consistent floor coverage and communication with team including team selling to assist in closing sales

· Actively participate in the process of professional growth

· Completing Opening and Closing Duties

· Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.

· Keep display areas and personal work space clean, attractive and organized

· Assist with putting out new inventory as needed or requested

· Assume responsibility for additional tasks as defined by leadership team

Skills and Abilities:

· Sales

· Basic PC skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook

· Ability to develop proficiency in our POS software; The Edge

· Completion of Diamontology DCA course within the first 6 months of hire

· Possess an ownership mentality

· Excellent customer service, communication and active listening skills

· Time management

· Reasoning / Negotiating skills

Requirements:

· Luxury, retail or product sales experience required

· High school diploma

The store has evolved to become Louisville’s largest local fine jeweler now located in a single-store east-end location and is known for its fine fashion jewelry, bridal jewelry and Swiss watches.
