Davis Place, a beautiful 5-star, 190 bed, privately owned skilled nursing facility in Danielson CT, is seeking a FT activities director to join their team of highly skilled professionals. Davis Place is a newly renovated facility with a great managerial support structure and is well known for their outstanding patient care and legendary customer service.
Qualifications:
- CTRS (Certification therapeutic recreation specialist)/ Activities Director Certification
- 1 year of experience as a director of activities in LTC is preferred
- Demonstrates the appropriate skills necessary to care for the needs of the residents.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions.
- Upbeat energetic personality, creativity
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in a way that is aligned with the current federal, state, and local regulations.
- Facilitate group activities.
- Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA and Federal Regs
- Encourage activity involvement from residence and chart attendance.
