The Davis Catalyst Center administrator will lead a state-of-the-art, innovative CTE Center dedicated to preparing high school students for college, careers, and life through hands-on, industry-relevant learning experiences. This position is responsible for fostering collaboration between educators, students, business partners, and the community to provide transformative opportunities across numerous CTE programs. The administrator will ensure that programs align with district goals, meet workforce demands, and provide students with meaningful pathways to success.

Leadership and Vision
Provide strategic leadership to maintain and grow the Davis Catalyst Center as a premier learning hub.
Develop and implement a long-term vision for innovative education that supports academic, career, and technical success for all students.
Promote an inclusive and equitable learning environment that reflects the diversity of the community and fosters student engagement.
Provide professional development to staff to create a highly reliable learning environment for students.
Program Development and Oversight
Collaborate with teachers and industry professionals to design and implement high-quality, profession-based learning experiences that integrate academic and technical standards.
Oversee the development of career pathways and certification programs aligned with industry trends and post-secondary opportunities.
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement and relevance to workforce needs.
Partnership Building
Build and maintain strong partnerships with local businesses, higher education institutions, and community organizations to enhance student learning and internship opportunities.
Work with the business development coordinator to be points of contact for industry partners, ensuring that their expertise and resources are integrated into the Catalyst¿s programs.
Advocate for the Catalyst Center and its mission within the community, engaging stakeholders in supporting its initiatives.
Operational Management
Oversee the daily operations of the center, including scheduling, facilities management, and budgeting.
Supervise and support staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration among educators and industry mentors.
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation requirements, and USBE CTE Program Approval.
Student Success and Engagement
Foster a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and creativity among students.
Develop strategies to recruit and retain students, including outreach to underrepresented populations.
Promote opportunities for students to earn industry-recognized credentials, college credits, and real-world experience through projects and partnerships.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience
Master's degree in education, educational leadership, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a school administrator.
Demonstrated success in leadership roles, particularly in managing teams and fostering partnerships.
Possess or ability to obtain a CTE endorsement.
Skills and Competencies
Visionary leader with the ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and community partners.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
Knowledge of current trends in education, workforce development, and technology.
