Warehouse Coordinator

Coordinate and perform day to day operations for the Ashaway, Rhode Island warehouse with primary responsibility for on-time kit and spare shipments.

Responsibilities

Safety

  • Maintain a clean organized work area using 5S
  • Complete supervisor weekly inspection list and submit to EHS
  • Inspect all racking for damage.
  • All inventory stored in safely
  • Truck wheel chocks in place while loading / unloading

Logistics responsibilities-

  • Schedule inbound containers and trucking by appointment.
  • Schedule warehouse transfer of parts to extrusion drive working as part of DS logistic team.
  • Responsible for on-time kit and spare shipments daily
  • Unload / Load trucks, receive and locate inventory.
  • Accurately pick, pack and ship customer orders
  • Create documents to process shipments domestic and export

    • Cycle counts-

  • Perform all cycle counts of inventory to Davis Standard CC policy.
  • Identify VIP parts and work with procurement to maintain min / max levels.
  • Monitor and control inventory integrity
  • Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Review obsolete inventory on monthly basis

    • Warehouse

  • Work from planning kit schedule
  • Draw, separate and label TSL sub assemblies
  • Pack assemblies safe for transport to DS locations
  • Support development of barcode and scanner systems
  • Apply CRC spray rust protection to all finished machine parts before storing
  • Report , fill NCR to any damaged inventory
  • Perform other related duties.
