Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general shop duties, including cleaning, organizing, stocking supplies, and maintaining a safe and orderly working environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Operate small hand tools and machinery as needed under supervision.
- Assist technicians and team members with basic tasks.
- Conduct visual and physical inspections of incoming products and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Report any defects, damages, or inconsistencies to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain records of inspection processes and findings for documentation purposes.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet specifications.
- Inspect shop tools and equipment for damage or wear; notify supervisors of maintenance needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a shop or inspection role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work instructions.
Wage: $18-$20/hour
