Entertainment Paralegal
Our Entertainment Paralegal will oversee the legal delivery of film and television content to ensure the content and related agreements meet the contractual requirements of distributors and exhibition services. Can you ensure that agreements are delivered to appropriate members of the team accurately and on time? You will review clearance logs, license agreements, materials releases and other agreements to confirm the inclusion of required language. On a daily basis you will verify music cue sheets, review documentation to accurately account for residuals, check chain of title and copyright registrations, review insurance certificates and complete other entertainment related transactions.
You’ll bring at least 2 years of transactional entertainment experience and professional communication skills to focus on entertainment-related transactions and production legal matters involving top producers of scripted and unscripted content. To thrive in this role, you’ve worked in-house with a studio or production company or with a major law firm on delivery-related issues. As a member of this team you must be able to prioritize and organize assignments, meet deadlines, and handle multiple, high priority tasks in a fast-paced environment, all while paying precise attention to every detail.
