Qualifications and responsibilities for this Asphalt Plant Operator position include:
- 1 years of experience in asphalt plant operations, mix design, or plant maintenance.
- Familiarity with computerized plant controls and mix design processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic math skills, including proficiency in Excel or similar programs.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Operate computerized controls to produce asphalt mixtures according to specifications.
- Monitor plant operation throughout the workday to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Load trucks with the correct mixture and quantity, ensuring proper ticketing.
- Assist with routine plant maintenance and servicing.
- Work closely with the plant foreman to order supplies and materials.
- Ensure safety of personnel and customers at the plant site.
- Train plant personnel and oversee daily tasks as needed.
Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
