Asphalt Plant Operator

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Asphalt Plant Operator position include:

• 1 years of experience in asphalt plant operations, mix design, or plant maintenance.
• Familiarity with computerized plant controls and mix design processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic math skills, including proficiency in Excel or similar programs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Operate computerized controls to produce asphalt mixtures according to specifications.
• Monitor plant operation throughout the workday to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Load trucks with the correct mixture and quantity, ensuring proper ticketing.
• Assist with routine plant maintenance and servicing.
• Work closely with the plant foreman to order supplies and materials.
• Ensure safety of personnel and customers at the plant site.
• Train plant personnel and oversee daily tasks as needed.

Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
