Qualifications and responsibilities for this Engineering Manager position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of process control, heat transfer, and mass transfer equipment.
- Experience managing projects, budgets, and engineering personnel.
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, ISO 9000 & 14000 regulations.
- Oversee capital improvements, facility modifications, and supervise Process Engineers and a Facilities Manager.
- Manage procurement of pumps, piping, and heat exchangers while enhancing process controls using DCS, PLC, AI/IoT/IIoT technologies.
- Maintain adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations, supporting wastewater treatment and air quality initiatives.
- Prepare and track department budgets while coordinating with vendors, consultants, and contractors to improve production efficiency.
Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a 10% bonus.
