Job Description

Our client, a top leader in consumer electronics, is looking for a "Functional QA Engineer" to be based out of Culver City / Los Angeles, CA ( Long Term Contract) .

We are seeking a Functional QA Engineer to ensure exceptional quality across Apple-Beats headphones and speakers. You will work with QA and development teams to plan and execute tests, identify and resolve issues, and improve functionality throughout the product lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Test Planning and Execution : Develop and execute detailed test plans to ensure high-quality performance across systems
  • Systems Improvement : Investigate potential architectural improvements for enhanced system reliability and performance
  • Issue Analysis and Debugging : Conduct thorough analysis, debugging, and issue resolution in collaboration with development teams
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work with QA and development teams to drive comprehensive testing efforts for continuous improvement

EDUCATION & SKILLS :

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years in systems quality testing
  • Familiarity with wireless standards, including Bluetooth Classic / LE, WiFi, or sensor technologies
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and QA tools
  • Proficient in UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for debugging, analysis, and automation
