Position Description:
The Contract Compliance Coordinator within the organization is part of the DAWN management team. This position is responsible for the evaluation and management of the organization’s programmatic data; maintaining accuracy and efficiency of program deliverables; and completion of all reporting requirements. The Contract Compliance Coordinator will collect, interpret, and convert data from multiple sources to meet contractual reporting requirements from various funders comprised of local, county, state, and federal government entities as well as private funders. They will analyze data to make informed recommendations and identify potential gaps in processes and/or data to achieve organizational goals. Additionally, they will complete all reporting requirements in advance of review and submission.
Essential Duties:
· Create information structures/measurement tools in various system platforms to capture program data in accordance with contractual obligations
· Collaborate with program supervisors to gather data for completion of reports, including metrics, statistics, and feedback from stakeholders
· Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual contract/monitoring reports
· Report program and organizational narratives responsive to data/information analysis
· Prepare, as needed, financial billing inputs/throughputs and outputs relative to fee for service programming
· Collaborate with fiscal personnel to ensure accuracy and consistency among programmatic and fiscal reports
· Manage salary/fringe personnel expense data respective to contract utilization/allocations
· Participate in the development and monitoring of budgets, operating expenses, and revenue margins
· Collaborate with the management team to prepare grant proposals and contract renewals
· Identify potential sources of funding for new and existing programs
· Facilitate the development/maintenance of our organizational Strategic Plan
· Perform other non-essential assigned duties and tasks as needed
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:
· Knowledge of and support for the Independent Living Philosophy
· Expertise in contract administration and compliance
· High proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, and data analysis
· Knowledge of fiscal concepts and the ability to understand budgets and P&L Statements
· Experience using Medicaid Billing Systems and SAGE System for Administering Grants
· Strong team player willing to take direction, initiate business activities, and work with management staff peers
· Creative thinker using sound judgment in workload coordination and in technical matters
· Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision/direction
· Ability to organize work effectively and establish priorities
· Strong and effective spoken and written communication skills
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in business administration, information management, or related field
· Specialized training in contract administration or procurement with at least two years of experience in this field
· Previous experience as an analyst with proven aptitude for managing information systems, data repositories, and reporting outputs preferred
· Previous experience in the social services delivery sector preferred
· Previous experience in grant and or proposal development preferred
Working conditions:
· This is an in-person position requiring on-site presence during standard business hours
· Standard work week is 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a half hour lunch break (37.5 hours)
· This position may entail participation in DAWN public outreach events as necessary
· This position at certain monthly, quarterly, and annual intervals is output intensive relative to program reporting requirements
· Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and verification of credentials
