Job Purpose and Overview

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of Team Member’s engaged in distribution center services in a cost-effective manner.

What will you do as an Operations Supervisor at Dawn Foods?

• Supervises the activities of the distribution center including directing, advising, and managing team members to ensure strong performance.
• Establishes performance expectations, monitors against expectations, and provides necessary feedback to team members to enhance their growth in position and promotional opportunities.
• Participates in hiring, promotion, discipline, and/or discharge decisions of team members within the scope of responsibility.
• Collaborates with Human Resources on hiring rates, adjustments to team member rates of pay/position status, and necessary disciplinary action to ensure adherence to company policy.
• Ensuring team member safety by promoting safe work practices, monitoring compliance with Dawn Foods policies and IFS standards
• Comply and enforce federal, state, local, laws, policies, and regulations.
• Addresses team member and customer complaints by conducting a thorough investigation, completing required documentation, and providing a timely resolution in collaboration with cross functional teams.
• Responsible for driver and vehicle compliance
• Other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate the “Dawn Values” and support the Circle of Excellence.

What Does It Take to be an Operations Supervisor at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.

• Bachelor’s degree, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of relevant work experience required.
• Minimum two years of warehouse management experience.
• Transportation management experience preferred.
• Must possess good verbal and written communications skills.
• Must be able to problem solve and resolve conflict.
• Must have a working knowledge of MS Office Suite and WMS required.
• SAP experience is preferred.

• Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures.
• Normal setting for this job is warehouse/office.
• Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.

$65,380 - $100,690
