Role Summary:
The Water Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the water treatment systems within our Production Facility in Kildare. This role ensures that water quality meets all regulatory standards and supports the overall production process.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be based in our Kildare production plant and will be responsible for:
- Operate and monitor water treatment equipment, including pumps, filters, and chemical dosing systems.
- Conduct regular water quality tests to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of water quality data, equipment maintenance, and chemical usage.
- Safely handle and store chemicals used in the water treatment process.
- Identify and resolve issues with the water treatment systems promptly.
- Ensure all operations comply with local and national regulations.
- Respond to emergencies related to water treatment systems, including spills and equipment failures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry standards and regulations.

- IT skills in both Microsoft word and Excel required.
- Available to work weekends if required.
