One of our clients is seeking an experienced Plant Controller in Eaton Rapids, MI to oversee financial operations at our manufacturing facility.
This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial planning, and cost control , with a CPA or CFA designation preferred.
Location - Eaton Rapids, MI
Pay - $110K - $150K USD
Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the plant.
Analyze cost structures and provide recommendations to optimize efficiency.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS) and internal controls.
Lead month-end and year-end financial reporting and variance analysis.
Manage inventory valuation, cost accounting, and capital expenditure tracking .
Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial performance.
Support audits, tax filings, and risk management processes .
Implement process improvements to enhance financial transparency and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
CPA, CFA, or equivalent accounting designation is highly desirable.
5 years of experience in financial leadership roles , preferably in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial modeling, and ERP systems .
Excellent analytical skills and ability to present financial data effectively.
Proficiency in Excel, SAP, or other financial software .
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
