Overview -Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. -Monitor and analyze plant costs, overheads, performance metrics. -Responsible for all cost accounting functions, maintaining cost accounting system, inventory and production data. -Prepares annual operating budgets and forecasts. -Coordinates the physical inventory to obtain a timely counting and valuation of all inventories. -Maintains accurate inventory and manufacturing accounting records. -Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes. -Coordinates annual manufacturing cost standards with Engineering and Purchasing through the Corporate office. -Maintains and improves the system of internal accounting controls for areas of responsibility; establishment of policies in conformance with Company policies and generally accepted accounting principles. -Prepares reports with explanations for actual expenses compared to budget and forecast. -Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. -Participate in financial audits and implement recommendations. -Performs other duties as needed for the successful operation of the facility.
