Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate will already have an established booked of business. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, managing accounts, and driving sales growth. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, transportation knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and personalized service.
  • Manage accounts by understanding client needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track sales activities, manage leads, and report on performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and contracts for potential clients.
  • Cold call prospects

Skills

  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Experience with truck management software is a plus.
  • Strong sales management skills with a focus on account management.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Understanding of third-party logistics (3PL) processes and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems.
  • Ability to navigate freight operations effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
