We’re looking for a Mechanical Planner to join our Day & Zimmermann team on site located in Dothan, AL.
The Big Picture – Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft software
- Ability to work independently, use problem-solving judgment and organize and prioritize work assignments
- Ability to conduct oneself professionally and with diplomacy and to maintain confidentiality where necessary
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Full knowledge of the Planning requirements within the Nuclear industry (e.g. reference material, process and procedures), and experience planning or the ability to quickly to start planning within the clients work management system
- Develop comprehensive work packages within client's work management system (MAXIMO).
- Support field operations on tagging/clearance requirements.
- Interface with field operations on the development of estimate, schedule and resource loading
- Assist in material procurement and material receipt inspection
- Perform real and virtual walk downs with field operations
- High school diploma required; some college or post secondary education preferred
- 5 to 10 years of applicable experience or BS Degree in an Engineering. Plus 3 years field planning experience.
- Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education
- Maximo Planning experience
