Responsibilities:
As a Lead Physical Therapist, you will provide leadership support to our outpatient physical medicine staff, reporting any pertinent information to the Director. You will assist with completion of employee performance reviews, respond to customer complaints, and monitor staff productivity and schedule utilization.
You will also be responsible for assisting the Director with other duties, including performance improvement activities, creating and revising departmental policies, and ensuring staff adhere to CMS, JCHO, and DPH guidelines for environment of care. Additionally, you will help with monitoring staff adherence to regulations and maintaining discretion when handling confidential information.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A BS, MS or DPT degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy, along with current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification or equivalent within 3 months of hire, is required.
