We're looking for a VP, Internal Communications to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be ambitious and hard-working, with excellent writing skills, a strong understanding of modern communication methods, and a knack for diplomacy. In collaboration with the communications Executive Leadership Team and Chief of Staff, this person will be the voice of our internal comms program.

This position is full time and is only available in New York City, working closely with teams across projects in all of our offices (NY, LA, CHI, PDX).
Responsibilities
This VP, Internal Communications sits on the communications team, and collaborates closely with our CEO, President and Chief of Staff. As our agency continues to grow and expand, it's more important than ever that we establish a focused communications strategy. This role will be the voice of the agency from within, developing the best ways to connect our team of nearly 200 people across four offices. From brief slack comms to in depth newsletters, as well as live presentations and even our social channels, this person will demonstrate a platform agnostic way with words, and an appreciation for dynamic change. Given the role within a fast growing and ever changing agency and industry, this person will also be deeply curious, engaged with culture, and eager to learn. Key responsibilities will include :
- Serving as the primary connector between different departments and D1A office locations, creating a shared understanding around the company's policies, expectations and culture.
- Developing an internal communications strategy
- Executing said strategy
- Building and owning an internal communications calendar
- Writing the majority of our internal comms
- Providing proactive counsel and point of view on issues management related to agency and employees
- Collaborating with various teams across the agency including marketing, comms, people and executive
- Assisting with writing executive comms and agency materials when necessary

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $150,000-$175,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
