Field Technician - Fairbanks, AK
Field Technician needed for an opportunity with SOC's client to work in Fairbanks, AK.
You will be supporting multiple programs / systems for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) who can perform installation and maintenance on a variety of Networking and Telecommunication equipment at customer locations. The position requires daily commuting to and from customer locations (indoor & outdoor) within your assigned area. Field technicians must be able to work independently with little supervision and possess good written / verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for each specific program / system (FTI, MS, ADSB, DCNS, WMSS and others) supports for the FAA.
- Install, repair, configure, test and complete preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment at the customers remote locations.
- Able to work remotely in a scheduled and on-call capacity to various customer locations within your assigned area.
- Occasionally travel to remote sites outside your assigned area may be needed from time to time to assist with the FAA customer needs and / or request.
- Able to read / understand / follow equipment drawings and task orders.
Qualifications
In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly rate range for this role is $31.00 to $45.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.

The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position : Successful completion of a background investigation, and d rug urinalysis.
