What are the responsibilities and job description for the Donut Baker/Decorator Night Shift Part-Time position at DAYLIGHT DONUTS OF SARATOGA SPRINGS?
Daylight Donuts of Saratoga Springs is looking to fill an upcoming baker and decorator position. We are located next to Smith's on Redwood Road and Pioneer Crossing.
We have a great opportunity available for the right person. Prior experience is a plus but not necessary. We are looking for people that are:

Baker position scheduled times vary a bit depending on orders and experience but normally 3-4 nights during the week and Saturday. Shifts can start at 11:00 PM and end around 4:30-6:30 PM (Saturday shift is 11:00am around 7-9am depending on volume). Part Time is 3-4 days per week. Saturdays are a must. We are closed Sundays.
Bakers work nights shifts in pairs. You will need to be able to measure, mix, proof and fry donuts, and other baked items. You will also decorate and tray donuts. Experience helpful but not required. We will train you on site. The Baker is responsible for using correct portions when preparing dough and frosting
You must be able to safely operate commercial mixing and frying equipment, be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time. Needs to work well with others and be a team player. Perform routine cleaning/housekeeping tasks as required to maintain the professional image and appearance of the store.

*Attendance/Reliability is a Must.
*Must have or be able to obtain Utah County Food Handler's Permit.
*Must be able to multi-task, get tasks done quickly and be a self starter.
*Must have a friendly/outgoing personality and work well with others.
*Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
*Bi-Lingual English Spanish is a plus but not required
Qualifications
- Food preparation experience
- Pastry or baking background
- Customer service skills
- Kitchen experience preferred
- Culinary or food industry experience
- Ability to handle food safely
- Cake decorating skills a plus
- Packaging experience beneficial
- Previous restaurant or catering experience is advantageous
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 24 per week
