Summary: This position is responsible for the administrative function of the Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) at their assigned location. This includes staff supervision, expense monitoring, billing, auditing, and providing backup as needed. The position reports directly to the BHUC Director providing oversite to the program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for oversight of their BHUC staff to include selection, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary action of employees. Coordinates staff schedule to ensure there is coverage. Provides back up as needed to BHUC for call outs.
- Provide feedback to BHUC Director regarding performance or problems/concerns with staff and overall program issues. Provides training to staff on process standards, both monitoring and status to standards, ensures strict compliance with all Professional standards, to ensure agency procedures/requirements are met including HIPAA/Confidentiality. Provides feedback to BHUC Director regarding performance or problems/concerns with staff.
- Handles administrative duties to include completing all reports as needed by MCO/other departments, monitoring all supplies, processing/submitting all financial invoices per procedure, conducting monthly meetings and attending/participating in management meetings and appropriate company-wide meetings.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Special Attributes: Must possess a good attitude, work well with staff at all levels of the agency, be committed to working as part of a team, have a strong commitment to patient care, understand office flow, understand budgeting and have knowledge of Mental Health, Social Work or Health Care Fields.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Provide on and off site supervision to all BHUC Staff.
Education and/or Experience: Must possess at least a High School Diploma. Degree in business and/or business training preferred (Actual work experience will be taken into consideration). Prefer experience in a supervisory role at least one (1) years. Supervision of an office is a plus.
