Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Days inn & Suites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling reservations, and managing front desk operations efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Greet and check in guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Reservations: Manage room bookings, cancellations, and modifications. Assist guests with reservations and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Front Desk Operations: Handle check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and maintain accurate guest records. Ensure the front desk area is clean and organized.
- Communication: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled and any issues are resolved.
- Customer Support: Provide information about the hotel's services, policies, and procedures. Offer recommendations for dining, entertainment, and other local activities.
- Administrative Duties: Complete necessary paperwork, update guest information, and manage phone calls and emails efficiently
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role or hotel front desk position preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
- Technical: Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software. Basic knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality management is a plus.
- Attributes: Friendly, reliable, and attentive to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $10.00 - $11.75 per hour
