Guest Service Agent
Open availability preferred, must have availability for 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm shift - will need to be available for Summer months and residing in Tuscaloosa.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Register guests and assign rooms, ensuring all necessary information is obtained
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries or requests
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions
- Assist with reservations and room assignments as needed
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software for reservations and guest management
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns or issues promptly
