The salary for this role is $135,000 to 165,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.

You will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of our platform, leveraging your expertise in Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies to drive efficiency and innovation across our engineering organization. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust and scalable Kubernetes-based platform (EKS, K3s, RKE2) on AWS and on-premises environments.
- Develop and deploy CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD, Argo Workflows, and GitHub Actions to automate application deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
- Implement and manage observability tools such as Grafana, New Relic, and Senty to ensure platform health and performance.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, AWS CDK, or Crossplane to manage and provision infrastructure resources.
- Integrate and manage SSO solutions (OAuth, SAML) to enhance platform security and user experience.
- Collaborate with application development teams to define platform requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing workflows.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal platform documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in the areas of Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, and developer platforms.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies in a production environment.
- Hands-on experience with Argo CD for continuous deployment and GitOps practices.
- Proficiency in at least one Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or Crossplane.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and experience with cloud-native services.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and related technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with Backstage or similar internal developer platform frameworks.
- Contributions to open-source projects or communities.
