Summary:
Daystar is seeking a Level II Help Desk professional to fulfill in Help Desk and Project Management responsibilities. This position is designed for someone that is organized, strategic, focused, diligent, detail oriented and resourceful. Must have previous professional IT experience.
This position supports all employees at Daystar, troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and networking technical issues by analyzing, identifying, and diagnosing faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues via phone, email, remote and in person
- Helpdesk ticketing system management (resolving, managing, and escalating tickets)
- Maintain monitoring of infrastructure systems to ensure systems uptime and reliability
- Work collaboratively with IT Leader to directly assist in SaaS Administration of business communication and employee management tools
- Provide excellent documentation for Ticketing system and knowledge base documentation
- Create, edit, and organize solutions for the Help Desk team and document it in ITSM
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- User onboarding and offboarding using Office 365 and Active Directory
- Break/fix, configuration issues, hardware repair (including in-house repair or coordinating depot services)
- Hardware preparation, inventory management, and maintenance on a daily basis
- Deploy and maintain Windows 7/10/11 OS, MacOS and other software
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of all office & infrastructure systems
- On-call support rotation or as needed
Main Skills

- Proficient experience working with both Windows 7, 10, 11 iOS and MacOS
- Knowledge of Office 365 administration and other SaaS
- Experience with Active Directory User and Groups
- Knowledge of standard TCP/IP networking and network troubleshooting
- Knowledge of users, groups, and how to apply security permissions, using them to access systems, directories, and file shares
- Experience with cloud-based applications
- Proven Experience leading or coordinating projects in the IT field
- Comfortable installing and performing basic functions on a network printer/scanner
- Ability to work in a team environment and present good communication skills for dealing with users and colleagues
- Show reliability by sticking to deadlines, delivering tasks, and overcommunicating any obstacles along the way
- Teamwork and positive attitude
Required Qualifications
- 3 Years of experience in IT field
- IT Graduate preferred
- A / Network / Security /MCSA / MCSE are a plus, but not required
- Apple and Microsoft Windows experience
- Knowledge of security concepts
- Experience with user management systems
- Basic understanding of wired and wireless networks
- Strong SaaS Knowledge and Experience
- Interest in learning new concepts and technologies in a fast-paced environment
- High standards for consistency & quality within personal and team performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
