Freight Claims Specialist

Overview

• This is not a remote position.
  
  

The Freight Claims Specia list is the primary contact for the processing and management of freight/OS&D claims.

Responsibilities

• Investigation and determination of new claims
• Determine liability against the responsible party
• Continually work with Claims Supervisor on accounts with a high claim ratio
• Assist with Admin duties when he/she is out of the office
• Understands and applies various computer software programs (Microsoft Office) to automate manual processes
• Continually improve processes
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Possess good written and oral communication skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Teams
• Strong attention to detail and processes
• Experience with or knowledge of OS&D (Over, Short and Damaged) is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
