Job Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting our customers by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with freight pickup requests, rate quotes, hot shipments, shipment tracing, and appointments, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
- Support the Service Center Manager and Account Managers by taking and delivering messages, as well as providing assistance to Drivers, showcasing teamwork and collaboration.
- Prepare bills of lading and delivery receipts, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion, highlighting attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Communicate effectively with external and internal customers, as well as interline companies, to resolve any issues or concerns, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Programs, with proficiency in keyboarding and basic computer applications.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of phone calls, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Licenses/Certifications: Legally eligible to work in the United States, at least 18 years old, and fluent in English.
