Dayton Outpatient Center is a multispecialty healthcare facility and seeking FT/PT candidates for Front Desk in Pain Management. This position is responsible for all aspects of the front desk. Responsible for greeting patients and documenting account activity, updating follow up procedure schedule with the AthenaHealth EMR. Provides the highest level of customer service to internal and external clients.
Full time positions include full benefits.
DUTIES
1. Performs daily activities of greeting patients, obtaining signatures of consent and scheduling follow up procedures.
2. Document eligibility, benefit and prior authorization information in accordance with established guidelines.
3. Provide outstanding customer service to patients and develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and other external customers.
4. Identify and report trends and prior authorization issues relating to billing and reimbursement.
5. Document all account activity and correspond to inquires in a timely manner.
6. Reviews accounts on a daily basis while meeting or exceeding all daily, weekly and monthly production goals.
7. Communicates and works effectively with colleagues from other departments.
8. Follows written and verbal communications.
9. Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Healthcare experience required. Knowledge of AthenaHealth EMR and prior authorizations preferred. Great attitude and positive focus required. Please reply with resume for immediate and confidential consideration.
