Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – Call Center
Location: Central Business Office / Vandalia, Ohio
Upon completion of training, this position will be eligible to work from home coming into the office one day every other week
Summary:
The Patient Support Associate provides duties relating to the answering of incoming calls, transferring calls, and performing routine miscellaneous administrative tasks as required.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
No weekends, evenings or holidays!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers incoming calls in a professional tone of voice;
- Listens attentively to ensure accurate response;
- Welcomes all patients and visitors to Dayton Physicians with kindness, courtesy, and respect;
- Transfers calls to correct locations;
- Pages staff and physicians as requested;
- Assists other office support positions as needed or requested;
- Follow all health care privacy and safety rules;
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Not applicable.
Required Education and/ or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED, previous experience with a multi-line phone and computers required. Prefer Medical Office experience.
General Skill Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience working with a Practice Management system.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position to provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders.
