We are seeking a friendly Service Counter Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service at our service counter, ensuring that customers have a positive experience and leave satisfied. The Service Counter Sales Associate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized service counter, assisting customers with their purchases, providing quotes for both standard stocking products and special-order products, answering phones, and responding to customer questions.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers at the service counter
Assist with purchases, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
Answer phones professionally and respond to inquiries
Process transactions accurately using the POS system
Maintain a clean and organized service counter with neat displays
Follow company policies for customer service, sales, and cash handling
Monitor inventory and notify management when stock is low
Attend training sessions to stay updated on products, sales techniques, and policies
Provide quotes for standard and special-order products
Track and process special orders, including communication with customers and suppliers
Maintain an accurate inventory system
Coordinate customer deliveries with Dispatch and Delivery teams
Work with vendors to order products and ensure timely delivery

Physical Job Requirements:

Push heavy carts and move products as needed
Stand for extended periods up to 30 minutes
Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment
Wear required personal protective equipment
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3 years of retail sales or customer service experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Basic math skills for transactions and refunds
Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Familiarity with POS systems and inventory software preferred
Commitment to safety policies and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
