Field Service Mechanic – Heavy Duty Construction Equipment
Company based in Martinsburg, WV region (working in PA WV, VA, and MD)
Our Client, a well-established underground utility construction company, is seeking an experienced, dependable, and self-motivated Field Service Mechanic to join their team.
This individual will travel to company’s construction sites to maintain and repair construction equipment and vehicles throughout PA, WV, VA, and MD.
Qualifications
- Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy construction equipment and heavy-duty trucks is required
- Valid CDL Class A Driver’s license with clean Motor Vehicle Record per company’s insurance standards
- Must possess exceptional trouble shooting abilities
- Ability to travel with a company service vehicle to project location daily and / or stay out of town when necessary.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background knowledge of various gas and diesel engines
- Good understanding of DOT regulations regarding maintenance practices
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Basic computer skills
- Able to stand, kneel, climb, bend, and lift up to 50lbs. unassisted
