What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Director position at DBF Resources LLC?
As the ideal candidate for this Maintenance Manager position, you will be responsible for continuously assessing our systems to ensure they are both safe and operating efficiently. This requires a strong ability to manage a team and conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect quality standards and functionality of services and machines
- Evaluate problems early and schedule repairs to minimize business loss
- Conduct regular assessments and trainings to guarantee employee safety
- Analyze processes to optimize functioning and make adjustments as needed
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- At least 10 years of management experience with heavy machinery, production lines, or related fields
- Large manufacturing plant and large maintenance team experience
- Candidates with CPG/Food experience and ammonia refrigeration knowledge are highly desirable
- Automated and PLC-driven experience is also essential
- The ideal candidate must possess strong critical thinking and organizational skills, as well as the ability to identify and solve inefficiencies in processes
