Overview:
The Ticket Taker for the Worcester Red Sox will be tasked with scanning game tickets at various access points throughout Polar Park on game days and special events. These key team members will focus on providing excellent customer service and assisting in creating a memorable experience for our fans when entering & existing Polar Park. The club will provide this team member with all necessary training and tools to deliver on our high expectations as we prepare to play our “WooSox 25” season!
Role and Responsibilities:
Scan game tickets at access points throughout Polar Park on both game days and special events
Provide the highest level of customer service
Develop an understanding of the Polar Park seating layout
Ensure accuracy of game tickets
Identify and solve ticket issues
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Characteristics:
Outgoing and fan friendly
Passion for the product and providing excellent customer service
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work outside, on your feet, in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
Ability to be coachable, with a desire to learn and excel
Ability to problem solve, work independently, and on a team
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Flexibility to work nontraditional hours (nights, weekends, holidays)
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual, multilingual, and/or fluent in ASL
This is a seasonal position. Based on the activity at Polar Park, weekly hours will fluctuate.
