What are the responsibilities and job description for the Highway / Bridge Maintenance Technician position at DBI SERVICES?
The Maintenance Technician on our Bridge Crew will work out of our Melbourne, Florida office and will report to the crew leader on a daily basis to fulfill work orders and perform preventative maintenance.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Debris and litter removal and clean-up
• Operate a Z-Turn Mower
• Operates a Weed Eater
• Branch removal and tree trimming
• Fence repair
• Concrete Spall Repair
• Painting Steel
• Joint Repairs
• Accident response and clean up
• Driving various vehicles and operating a variety of access equipment and tools
• Performs other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to and from Company office
• Ability to work nights, weekends and overtime as needed
• Candidates must be able to respond to emergency scenarios and work unusual/unscheduled work shifts that will or may require availability on days, nights, holidays, weekends, etc.
