What are the responsibilities and job description for the Highway Maintenance Technician position at DBI SERVICES?
The position is responsible to perform general maintenance of the highway maintenance project assigned.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Picks up Litter and debris
- Performs landscaping related functions, including mowing, weed eating, and leaf blowing, mulch placement, weeding of flower beds
- Uses Z-Turn mowers with batwing attachments, tractors with bush hog attachments, and Gator / Kubota carts
- Performs repair work including, but not limited to, repair of fences, sign repair, and other highway maintenance activities to include emergency response
- Performs pressure washing / power washing
- Performs Herbicide application
- Removes graffiti
- Drives company vehicles
- Uses all equipment safely
- Performs other duties as assigned
