What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Helper and Warehouse Associate - Virginia ABC position at DBX Group?
DBX Group is hiring to cross-train truck helper and warehouse associate for the Virginia ABC warehouse.
Basic job duties could include, but are not limited to:
- Ride along in truck to help unload freight at the ABC Stores
- Assist supervisor with daily truck dispatch
- Work on the dock/in the warehouse
- Maintain truck and trailer equipment
- Assist in repairing broken trailer equipment (freight tracks, bulkheads, bars and straps, etc.)
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of how to use basic tools (wrench, screwdriver, hammer, etc.)
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently at times
- Adaptability and fliexibility in accepting and completing job assignments
- Reliable transportation to/from work
Monday through Friday, with some Saturday work
Hours vary depending on the schedule. This associate will be assigned their weekly schedule in advance.
- Truck Helper - Start time 2:00AM, end time depends on route
- Morning Dispatcher - 12:00AM to 9:00AM
- Warehouse Work - 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Pay: $19.00 per hour
