• This is a seasonal role from anticipated dates of March to June at KAT Wholesale in Kansas City, Missouri.
• Hourly Range: $18.00-$22.00 dependent on experience
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Task Completion: Efficiently complete assigned tasks and work orders to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Individual Productivity: Maximize personal output to support overall team efficiency and achieve operational goals.
• Work Quality: Consistently perform all duties to a high standard, ensuring product integrity and customer satisfaction.
• Work Safely: Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  
  

Essential Job Duties

• Perform and complete all assigned tasks such planting, pruning, hoeing, staking, moving product, loading, and other tasks safely
• Complete all assigned tasks on work orders within the scheduled timeframe, minimizing delays and ensuring timely completion
• Handle and care for the product correctly, minimizing product damage
• Inspect all products for quality and defects before, during, and after completing assigned tasks
• Follow established procedures and guidelines for each task to ensure high-quality results
• Report on any product quality issues or concerns to the Manager promptly
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move and load materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Required: 1 years working experience in the landscaping, nursery, garden center, or a related industry or labor-intensive physical role
• Required: Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish and English
