The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.

Position Summary: The Deputy Director of Battleground Fundraising plays an integral role in the Battleground team. The Battleground team raises money directly for our Frontline Members and Red to Blue candidates. 

This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.  

Responsibilities Include:

• Manages and executes the day-to-day fundraising operation on behalf of Frontline Members and Red to Blue candidates;
• Staff events conducted on behalf of Frontline Members and Red to Blue candidates;
• Prepare call time, donor meeting, and event materials, as necessary;
• Help coordinate annual and new Battleground fundraising events locally and nationally;
• Research and cultivate new prospective donors;
• Staffing DCCC principals in call time, donor meetings, and at events;
• Other duties as needed to ensure the success of the Candidate Fundraising team and our Members and candidates.

Requirements

•  Minimum of one (1) cycle of political fundraising experience;
•  Travel is required for this position;
•  Desire to work in a fast-paced environment;
•  Commitment to the election of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives;
•  Familiarity with Democratic political actors and landscape;
•  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and NGP;
•  Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Superior time management, attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities;
